The quest for all things P

This morning started only a few hours after our night ended. We woke up bright and early ready to start the day. Eddy and Carly left at like 10am to do laundry and grab us breakfast and "due capuchini"- The perfect start to any Italian day.
I did some miserable homework-which should be banned on European get-a-aways' or else the name seems kinda silly!

Then we headed out for the Panthenon. Our First P of the day!
It followed suit in all things Roman in that it was HUGE, ORNATE, and ANCIENT! I mean this city is amazing. If miami could only figure out what the ancient Romans created these buildings out of we'd be set for hurricane season for years!!! If Miami could only figure our how to build MEN like this I'd be set for years!!!!
We prayed inside the Chapel and actually got rained on from the open dome of the Pantheon. Kinda like God giving us good luck! That or he was crying because me and Carly were finally at church- you take whatever story you'd like to believe!!! hahaha

oh yes, I forgot, since we're having power issues here, and no we're not all fighting, literally voltage issues.. lol our Chi wont heat, our blower wont blow, it's truly a hair emergency!! hahaha I wont specificly say how many times we've washed and done our hair.... we'll leave that to the imagination, but it's not every day that's for sure!!!
Anyways, Carly had found a cute little Italian salon so we treated ourselves to an Italian Blow-out!
wink wink lol

On our way to the Panthenon we found this delightful lil shop selling miscellaneous Italian items, oils, wines, Penis Pasta, ya know the norms!! lol

After the Panthenon we went to Sant' Estuchia's Cafe. It was about a block from the Panthenon and happenes to boast the best coffee in Rome. Apparently it has water from pipes from 19B.C used in it's coffee! it's GREAT! totally worth the jam packed store to get some!
When I first arrived and had my first coffee i was thinking, woah, this is goign to be a long three weeks sans starbucks. The cappicnos were way WAY stronger to my Americana coffee I enjoy so much and not nearly as sweet. But now, since I get little to no sleep each night, I oddly crave these strong coffee's daily....and by daily and I mean a few times a day ;)

The Next P is as follows. We decided on dinner at the resturant below our apartment for our last night in Rome. Its called Il Gildo. It was the best food we've had yet. Our food experiences seem to keep buliding on each consecutive night. Each night is better than the rest. Tonight we got a bruscetta antipasta and a while hunting salami and bread combo. Delicious to say the least!!
Take a look.....

Our nex to last P for the day was the Plaza de Popolo. This has evaded us through our entire stay in Rome. Each day it's planned that we visit the Popolo but never make it. Altthough our tootsies were tired we trecked them all the way out to the Popolo... and after all the Popolo talk and hype, it sucked!
we quickly hailed a cab and went to.

Finally Packing for Positano tomorrow!!!!
